'Still at the Edge II' (oil and wax on cradled panel, 32 x 48 x 2) has garnered the most attention in the group show, 'Wax' for it's strong yet simple presence, alluring texture, subtle color variations and brave minimalistic style. Jerry is influenced by the urban life and textures around him in Oakland and inspired by what most of us overlook: a rusted sign, faded siding, worn concrete, which he uses to tell new stories about the urban experience. Additional details and pictures upon request.
