We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural edition of The Ladies Room, a women-only, one room only art fair exclusively for women artists. This intimate and highly curated mini art fair will be taking place the third weekend of San Francisco Open Studios in the Dogpatch neighborhood. The Ladies Room is a juried show featuring 20 women artists, chosen from a pool of applicants by Artist, Author and The Jealous Curator, Danielle Krysa.

Following the open studios and art fair model, exhibiting artists will be present to discuss and sell their work for the duration of the event. This will be the third exhibition Jen Tough Gallery has held in this 2500 sq ft gallery space, the first two being New Lands and Wild Things, both having a large and enthusiastic turnout.

Who’s in?

We’re limiting this art event to twenty exceptionally talented women artists, and we’re setting the bar really high on this for the best quality, and to keep the experience small and intimate.

There is no application fee for this event.

Women only. No apologies.

The Ladies Room was conceived because of the continued lack of exhibition opportunities, representation of, and support for women artists. While women have consistently been used as subject matter for male-created art, women continue to be disregarded for their artistic contributions and left out of important conversations within the art world. The Ladies Room aims to make a small difference in the male-dominated art market by offering a designated exhibition and market spaces for contemporary women artists.
